Culminating the week, the gala will be an opportunity to relieve stress, mingle, and have fun over delicious catered food and drinks, musical performances, and a special guest speaker. Several acapella groups will be performing, including the New Dominions, Ektaal, and the Virginia Gentlemen. Genevieve Agar and Doreen Devasia's art exhibit will be making it's museum debut during the Gala. We will also be hosting speaker Dahlia Lithwick, who works for Slate covering the Supreme Court. $5 tickets for UVA students and employees will be sold throughout the week at South Lawn and Newcomb tabling stations where credit cards, cash, and Venmo payments will be accepted. $10 tickets for community members will be sold at the door. The attire is semi-formal.
